Are you an experienced People Leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced professional services environments? We're partnering with a leading UK professional services organisation undergoing significant growth and transformation. As part of an ambitious long-term strategy, they are seeking a senior People Leader to partner with a large Advisory and Consulting business, driving organisational effectiveness, workforce transformation and leadership capability across a complex partnership structure. This is not a traditional HR Business Partner role.
We're looking for someone who can operate as a true business leader and trusted advisor, influencing senior stakeholders, leading strategic people initiatives, and ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale people, workforce and organisational change programmes.
The Opportunity
Supporting a sizeable and growing Advisory division, you will work closely with senior business leaders and Partners to shape and execute the people agenda, ensuring it directly supports commercial objectives and future growth plans. You will act as the lead People Partner for the business, bringing together expertise from across Talent, Learning, Reward, Recruitment and People Services to deliver impactful solutions and drive organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders and Partners to deliver strategic people initiatives aligned to business objectives
- Lead workforce planning, organisational design and capability planning activity
- Drive large-scale transformation, change and organisational effectiveness programmes
- Influence and coach senior stakeholders across a complex partnership environment
- Lead and prioritise key people projects, ensuring successful delivery and measurable outcomes
- Use people analytics and business insight to support strategic decision-making
- Identify organisational risks and develop practical solutions to support growth and performance
- Act as the senior People lead across a broad range of people, talent and capability initiatives
- Build strong relationships across specialist People functions to ensure a joined-up and commercially focused service
- Support leadership teams in navigating organisational change, growth and evolving operating models
About You
We're interested in speaking with experienced HR leaders who can demonstrate:
- Significant HR Business Partnering or People Leadership experience within a professional services, consulting, legal, accounting or partnership-led environment
- Experience operating at a senior level with Partners, Directors and Executive stakeholders
- Strong organisational effectiveness, workforce planning and transformation experience
- A track record of leading complex people projects and change programmes
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to link people strategy to business performance
- Experience working across matrixed, fast-paced and evolving organisations
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) is desirable
