Work with some of the world’s largest brands on interesting and complex projects in modern IT. The Salesforce Delivery Unit focuses on helping clients achieve business value through Salesforce.com, the world’s number one cloud-based CRM solution. You’ll work across various industry sectors, from Consumer Products to Telecommunications, transforming businesses using the Salesforce.com platform supported by a large ecosystem of Salesforce apps.

You’ll experience variety; one day you could be working with a client to understand their business requirements, the next day you may start building a proof of concept with a development team, moving onto developing the final solution that may be used by thousands of end users.

Hybrid working: Your work locations will vary according to your role, needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home, noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

If offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including identity, nationality or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and an unspent criminal record check.

Your role: Working closely with clients, you’ll analyse their needs and design and develop the right solution to exceed their expectations using your technical Salesforce Marketing configuration and coding experience. You’ll indulge your passion for Salesforce, CRM, and Marketing Automation while exploring ideas. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their Marketing Automation strategy and requirements, developing solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will be confident working with Marketing Cloud, understanding data points, writing data queries in SQL, utilising HTML email templates and Ampscript, and configuring Marketing Cloud Connector with Salesforce Service Cloud.

We’ll support you through a Salesforce certification plan, investing in your development so you’re always at the top of your game. You’ll be working within the Marketing Cloud platform and can talk confidently with CRM and Marketing senior executives, demonstrating Salesforce capabilities. You’ll spend a good proportion of your time face to face with clients, helping to develop your professional communication, presentation, and design thinking capabilities.

You’ll be confident working both independently and as part of a wider team of Salesforce Marketing Cloud developers and architects to deliver low-level designs that align with client business needs and the architecture of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will have a basic understanding of Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud), its capabilities, and functionality, as well as a basic understanding of AI and how to leverage this within solutions.

Your skills and experience: You’ll have at least 4+ years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience covering one or more of the main clouds, Sales or Service. Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification and practical experience on a large global deployment are essential for this role. You will also have at least 4+ years working on large complex end-user or client projects setting up Marketing Cloud to create marketing campaigns touching millions of customers. Certified to Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and Marketing Cloud Admin as a minimum, with evidence of progressing for further certification or Trailhead Super badges.

Working knowledge of CSS and SSJS is desirable, along with experience in setting up or running an IP Warmup and proven experience translating highly conceptual business needs and/or user stories into effective solutions. Experience in creation and understanding of Data design and modelling is required. Experience working with additional marketing automation solutions such as Braze, Adobe, Oracle, APIs (both REST and SOAP) is very desirable. Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Foundations, Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist, Data 360 Consultant certification, and Salesforce Certified Administrator certification are also required.

Your security clearance: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). To be successfully appointed to this role, you will need to undergo BPSS checks.
