Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of civil disputes, focusing on contentious probate and property matters
  • Advise and represent clients throughout the litigation process
  • Develop and implement strategies for dispute resolution, utilising litigation, mediation, and negotiation
  • Stay updated with developments in civil litigation and relevant case law

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx)
  • At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Proven experience handling contentious probate and property claims
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a practical, client-focused approach
  • Desire to contribute to the growth of the department and the firm
  • Experience in other areas of civil litigation
  • Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution methods
  • Proactive approach to client engagement and business development
