The Opportunity:

We are seeking an ambitious Employment Associate to join our client's award-winning Employment practice during an exciting period of growth. This role will be based in their Birmingham office and offers a unique chance to work with an expanding client base, delivering exceptional legal services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing strategic employment advice to high-profile clients.
  • Drafting employment contracts, policies, and grievance procedures.
  • Managing Employment Tribunal claims from start to finish.
  • Contributing to complex employment-related transactions.
  • Handling data subject access requests with a focus on compliance.
  • Leading marketing initiatives, including writing thought leadership articles and presenting at seminars.
  • Supporting business development activities to enhance market presence.
  • Developing in-depth sector knowledge and staying updated on legal developments.
  • Cultivating long-term client relationships.
  • Maintaining excellent file management in line with departmental standards.
  • Participating in comprehensive training programmes.

What You Will Need:

  • Qualified solicitor with c.1-5 years' PQE in employment law, preferably with commercial or public sector exposure.
