You will join a specialist team advising on technology sourcing, outsourcing, telecommunications, digital infrastructure, and next-generation technology projects.

Working alongside senior members of the practice, you will support clients on large-scale transformation programmes that are critical to their operational and commercial objectives. The role provides exposure to a wide range of sectors and a variety of complex commercial arrangements involving technology-enabled services and solutions.

Given your position within the team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of client matters, lead workstreams on significant projects, supervise junior lawyers, and build trusted relationships with clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on complex technology procurements, outsourcing arrangements, and managed services agreements.
  • Leading negotiations involving software development, software licensing, SaaS, cloud computing, and technology implementation projects.
  • Supporting clients through major digital transformation and business change initiatives.
  • Advising on telecommunications, digital infrastructure, and connectivity-related projects.
  • Providing strategic legal and commercial advice on emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and data-driven services.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements.
  • Managing workstreams on multi-party and multi-jurisdictional projects.
  • Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior lawyers.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser.
  • Supporting business development activities, thought leadership initiatives, client presentations, and market engagement programmes.

The team environment is collaborative, supportive, and high performing, with opportunities to work on long-term projects from inception through to completion.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  • Significant post-qualification experience in technology, commercial, or TMT law.
  • Strong experience advising on technology contracts, outsourcing arrangements, or digital transformation projects.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and contract management skills.
  • Experience managing complex matters involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong client relationship management capabilities.
  • Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in innovation and emerging technologies.
  • Experience mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across teams, sectors, and jurisdictions.
  • A proactive attitude towards business development and client engagement.
