Interim Major Donor Officer 6-8 Month Contract Part-Time (2-3 days per week) Competitive Day Rate Edinburgh We are supporting our client in the education sector as they seek an experienced and personable Interim Major Donor Officer to support fundraising, donor engagement and events activity.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and credible professional who enjoys building relationships, crafting compelling funding proposals and reports, and representing an organisation at events and networking opportunities.
You will write high-quality funding proposals, donor reports, cases for support and fundraising communications, while building and managing relationships with existing and prospective donors and supporters.
The role will involve supporting donor stewardship activities to ensure an engaging and positive supporter experience, organising and attending fundraising, networking and stakeholder events, and representing the organisation professionally at meetings and external engagements.
You will also identify opportunities to grow donor networks and fundraising relationships, while maintaining accurate records of donor engagement and fundraising activity.
We're looking for someone with experience in fundraising, donor relations, stakeholder engagement, business development or a similar relationship-focused role.
You will be an excellent writer with the ability to produce compelling reports, proposals and donor communications.
A confident relationship-builder, you are comfortable networking, and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders, donors and supporters.
You will be credible, articulate and professional, with strong interpersonal skills.
