A highly regarded London law firm is seeking to expand its established Court of Protection team with the appointment of two solicitors: one at NQ–4 PQE level and another at 4–8 PQE level.

Responsibilities

  • Court of Protection deputyship applications and ongoing administration
  • Advising on deputyships, trusts, and related structures
  • Financial management, budgeting, and investment-related matters
  • Liaising with clients, family members, case managers, care providers, and other professionals
  • Management of care packages and associated funding arrangements
  • Statutory Will applications and other Court of Protection applications
  • Participation in client and stakeholder meetings
  • Supporting or undertaking contentious Court of Protection matters where appropriate

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified solicitor, or due to qualify soon with experience in Court of Protection
  • Strong client care skills and an interest in working with vulnerable individuals
  • Organised and capable of managing a varied caseload
  • Experience advising on deputyships, trusts and high‑value compensation awards
