A highly innovative and fast-growing biotechnology business based in Cambridgeshire is seeking an In-House Paralegal to join its legal team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with a strong possibility of extension or a move into a permanent role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the cutting edge of the biotech sector, supporting a collaborative and forward-thinking organisation developing next-generation solutions in therapeutics and advanced scientific research.

Working closely with the legal function and wider business, you will play a key role in supporting a broad range of commercial and operational legal matters:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, supplier agreements, MSAs, MTAs, licensing and service agreements
  • Supporting the legal team and senior management with day-to-day legal and administrative matters
  • Managing the contract lifecycle, ensuring accurate record keeping and organisation of legal documentation
  • Partnering with internal teams including Business Development, R&D, Operations, Sales, Finance, HR and Facilities
  • Translating legal concepts into clear, practical guidance for non-legal stakeholders

Prior experience as a Paralegal role, ideally within an In-House legal team. Solid experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on a broad range of commercial agreements, with the ability to handle work autonomously.
