About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Sustainability and Business Development Coordinator to join our Credit Business Coordination team. This role is pivotal in driving sustainability initiatives and developing new business opportunities aligned with our corporate banking strategy. You will collaborate across departments and act as a key liaison between our London branch and Head Office in Japan.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate sustainability-related business activities across GBU and Head Office.
- Monitor ESG risks within credit transactions and assist in implementing risk management frameworks.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, including Japanese and non-Japanese corporates.
- Represent the company at networking events and conferences to promote sustainability and impact investment.
- Prepare timely reports and share insights with senior management and Head Office.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial services, syndication, or distribution.
- Strong analytical skills and aptitude for statistics.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- ‘A’ level qualifications preferred.
- Japanese language skills are highly desirable.
