The role
- Support high-value, strategically important construction projects across the UK
- Advise on NEC contracts (core focus), JVs, consultancy agreements, variations and settlements
- Work on both contentious and non-contentious matters
- Partner closely with commercial and project teams
- Help identify, manage and mitigate legal and commercial risk
- Support continuous improvement through better processes and use of legal tech
About you
- Qualified lawyer (Approx 0-3 years PQE)
- Experience in construction law is essential (in-house or private practice)
- Good working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Commercially minded and keen to support business objectives
- Proactive, organised and comfortable juggling priorities
- Able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team
