Privately owned by highly respected industry figures, this entrepreneurial brand is entering an exciting phase of growth and is now looking to appoint a hands‑on Finance Manager to take full ownership of the finance function.
This is a stand‑alone finance role, reporting directly to the owners, offering genuine autonomy and the opportunity to make a visible impact on the business.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will have end‑to‑end responsibility for finance, combining hands‑on delivery with commercial insight. This role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the detail while also influencing decision‑making at owner level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full ownership of the finance function
- Managing bookkeeping and statutory processes using Xero
- Weekly sales reporting (critical to the business)
- Strong focus on cashflow forecasting and management
- Credit control and receivables management (low volume, high importance)
- Accurate, insightful financial reporting
- Acting as a trusted finance partner to the owners, questioning and challenging numbers where appropriate
As the business grows, there is potential to build out the finance function with additional support.

- Proven experience in a similar hands-on finance manager role in a small privately owned business
- Experience in FMCG, drinks or retail is highly desirable
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- A clear understanding of the importance of cash in a growing business
- Confidence working directly with founders / owners
- A proactive, engaged approach and willingness to be hands‑on
This is a rare opportunity to join a high‑growth, owner‑led luxury brand at a pivotal point in its journey. You’ll have real influence, visibility, and the chance to shape how finance supports the next stage of growth.
