As the In-House Privacy Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the organisation through complex legal and data privacy landscapes. Your expertise will help the company expand while maintaining compliance and integrity.
- Assist General Counsel: Support on strategic legal matters and issues.
- Commercial Contracting & Negotiation: Negotiate diverse commercial contracts, including client agreements and data-sharing agreements.
- Legal Front Door Management: Handle queries from various teams across the business.
- Data Privacy Advisory: Provide insights on legal and data privacy risks for new projects and product launches.
- Corporate Governance: Develop policies to mitigate risks and support governance.
- Legal Operations: Improve processes and systems for better efficiency and risk management.
- Train colleagues on legal risks and foster a culture of compliance.
- AI & Emerging Tech Compliance: Monitor legal risks associated with innovative technologies in the SaaS space.
Qualified solicitor, barrister, or legal executive with 2-5 years PQE. Experience in data privacy is essential; Hands-on and curious about the evolving legal landscape.
