We are recruiting for a Customer Executive to join a well-known FMCG brand within their Foodservice & Wholesale team. This is a commercially focused role supporting the growth and development of key B2B customers, including wholesalers, distributors and foodservice operators such as bakeries, caterers, and hospitality businesses.
You’ll work closely with customers to build strong relationships, support day-to-day account management, and identify opportunities to grow sales across a portfolio of accounts. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their sales or account management career looking to develop within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key responsibilities- Support the management and growth of key foodservice wholesale customers
- Build strong relationships with wholesalers and distributors
- Identify opportunities to increase sales, product range and profitability
- Support planning and execution of promotions and commercial activity
- Assist with pricing, forecasting and performance tracking
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, category, supply chain and sales teams
- Monitor account performance and contribute to growth plans
- Resolve customer queries and support service delivery
- Experience in a sales, account management or customer-facing B2B roles
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive mindset
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with data and reporting
- Experience within FMCG, food, beverage, wholesale or distribution
- Exposure to working with wholesalers or foodservice customers
- Full UK driving licence
- Salary: £37,000
- Hybrid working: 1 day per week in Peterborough office
- Field-based role with regular travel to customers
