We are partnering with a leading private sector organisation to appoint a commercially minded Senior HR Business Partner on an initial 12-18 month FTC basis. This is a newly evolved role within a high-performing HR function, designed to provide additional strategic depth and organisational support during a period of business change and transformation.
Working closely with the Global HR Director, the successful individual will act as a trusted partner and safe pair of hands, helping to support the implementation of change initiatives, organisational development activity and leadership priorities across the business. Importantly, this role is not intended to replace or duplicate an already established HR structure. Instead, the focus is on collaborating with an experienced and high-performing HR team to help bring the wider business on the journey through strong partnership, coaching, organisational insight and pragmatic delivery.
The business is looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner who is comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with senior leaders across operational, engineering and commercial functions
- Support organisational change and transformation initiatives across the business
- Help drive organisational capability, workforce planning and leadership effectiveness discussions
- Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to support business priorities and organisational objectives
- Coach, support and influence leaders through periods of change and organisational evolution
- Use workforce insight and commercial understanding to identify risks, opportunities and capability gaps
- Support organisational design and team effectiveness activity where required
- Contribute to talent, succession and future capability discussions
- Balance strategic HR partnering with pragmatic operational delivery
About You
- Proven experience operating as a Senior HR Business Partner within fast-paced commercial environments
- Exposure to organisational change, transformation and business evolution initiatives
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capability
- The ability to influence and support leaders at multiple levels across the business
- A collaborative and pragmatic approach with the credibility to operate within an established HR team
- Broad exposure across multiple areas of HR, with the ability to move between strategic and operational activity
- Experience working within both larger corporate environments and smaller, more agile businesses
- Commercial awareness and the ability to balance pace with thoughtful decision-making
- CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience
