Our client is seeking an enthusiastic HR Specialist to join their dynamic team, supporting the UK & Ireland region. About the Role:
As an HR Specialist, you will be a trusted partner to business leaders, providing expert advice on complex employee relations matters, TUPE transfers, and change management initiatives. Your expertise will help navigate ambiguity and deliver practical, commercial solutions that align with business objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Employee Relations & Business Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to managers across the organisation on complex employee relations issues. Provide clear, balanced advice on disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, and restructuring cases. Enable confident business decision-making through objective recommendations grounded in policy and best practises. Ensure a consistent, fair, and compliant approach across all employee relations activities.
- Change & Transformation: Serve as the HR subject matter expert in business change programmes. Support organisational design, restructures, redundancies, and transformation initiatives. Guide leaders through consultation processes, ensuring compliance while protecting colleague experience. Bring structure and clarity to evolving business challenges.
- TUPE Expertise: Lead and support TUPE transfers, providing expert guidance on procedural requirements and employee impact. Partner with stakeholders to deliver seamless transitions that balance compliance with commercial outcomes.
- Visa & Immigration: Manage visa and immigration processes, ensuring full compliance with UK requirements. Act as a key point of contact for managers and colleagues regarding sponsorship and right-to-work matters.
- Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and colleague experience while applying HR processes consistently. Contribute to broader HR transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Build strong relationships across a diverse stakeholder group. Communicate complex topics with clarity, empathy, and professionalism, especially in uncertain situations. Influence and challenge constructively to drive positive business outcomes.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland employment law and employee relations.
- Proven experience supporting TUPE transfers and organisational change.
- Experience managing visa and immigration processes in the UK.
- Ability to operate at pace in a complex, evolving business environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
