About the Role
As an Assistant Financial Planner, you\’ll play a key role in supporting experienced Financial Planners and helping deliver tailored financial advice to a diverse client base. You\’ll be the bridge between Client Administration and Consultants—reviewing client circumstances, preparing documentation, and ensuring a seamless advice process. This is a collaborative, client-focused environment where your contributions will directly impact the quality of service and outcomes delivered.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering comprehensive financial planning services
- Conduct initial client reviews and present findings to Consultants
- Prepare documentation including valuations, cashflow analyses, and suitability reports
- Liaise with Paraplanners and Admin teams to streamline processes
- Resolve complex queries with providers and interpret quotes
- Coordinate onboarding of new clients and manage CRM workflows
- Collaborate with AFPs to harmonise standards across desks
- Engage with introducers to generate new leads
Qualifications
- Degree educated
- Level 4 qualified (CII Diploma or equivalent)
- Progress toward Level 6 qualification desirable
- Minimum 2 years\’ experience in a financial planning environment
- Strong understanding of financial products and onboarding requirements
- Familiarity with AML and regulatory frameworks
