Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day conduct of Private Client files and handle all aspects of work connected with Private Client matters.
- Be the main point of contact for private client-related inquiries received from various offices, primarily focusing on the Gloucester office.
- Handle a wide range of Private Client issues, including but not limited to Wills, Probate, LPA’s, Trusts, Estates, Tax, and Court of Protection.
- Work to strict deadlines in a pressurised yet friendly environment.
- Collaborate with support staff in a positive and proactive manner.
- Liaise with the Legal Director on financial budgeting and training requirements/opportunities.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based records for clients.
- Act as a positive ambassador for our client, demonstrating professionalism and excellent client care.
- Participate in the business development of the department.
- Undertake regular staff development to enhance skills and expertise.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with experience in Private Client law, specifically in Wills and Probate.
- Proven ability to handle a wide range of Private Client matters independently.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- A proactive and positive approach to work.
Desirable Requirements:
- STEP qualification or working towards it.
- Experience in handling complex Private Client cases.
