We're currently supporting a growing and progressive accountancy and advisory firm that is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager as part of the continued expansion of its Corporate & Transactions Tax team. This is a technically focused role offering a strong mix of compliance and advisory, working closely with senior leadership on a broad range of complex corporate tax matters.
The role involves taking ownership of complex corporate tax compliance work while supporting a wide variety of advisory projects. Alongside managing your own workload, you'll work closely with senior team members and help develop junior staff as the team continues to grow.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage corporate tax compliance for a range of clients, including groups and audit clients
- Deliver and support on advisory projects such as reorganisations, business sales, and share schemes
- Ensure accurate implementation of tax planning within compliance work
- Liaise with HMRC, clients, and third parties
- Research and interpret complex tax legislation, providing clear and practical advice
- Manage multiple assignments with strong organisation and workflow control
- Support, train, and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to business development initiatives where appropriate
- Collaborate with colleagues across wider tax and advisory teams
About you:
- ATT / ACA qualified with post-qualified experience in corporate tax
- CTA qualified (or working towards) preferred
- Strong UK corporate tax knowledge with a commercial mindset
- Experience across both compliance and advisory work
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Well organised with the ability to manage deadlines independently
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff
- Collaborative approach with a focus on team development and culture
