We are looking for an experienced Procurement Buyer to join a public sector organisation on an initial 3-month contract. This role sits within the Professional Services procurement function and will focus on supporting digital procurement processes, with a particular emphasis on Source-to-Pay (S2P) systems and SAP Ariba.
Key Responsibilities
- Support procurement activity across IT and Professional Services categories
- Operate within and optimise SAP Ariba and other Source-to-Pay (S2P) systems
- Contribute to digitally transforming procurement processes, improving efficiency and driving cost savings
- Manage sourcing and buying activities in line with public sector procurement regulations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic sourcing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with governance, frameworks, and procurement best practice
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist
- Strong knowledge of IT systems procurement
- Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba (essential)
- Good understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes
- Experience working within the public sector
