Shift Electrical Engineer

Northamptonshire

LHH is partnering with a Leading Manufacturer as they are seeking to recruit an experienced Shift Electrical Engineer who will provide essential technical engineering expertise to their site which operates 24/7. In this role, you will contribute to the safe production of quality products while ensuring optimal equipment availability and capability.

Reporting to the Central Electrical Engineering Manager, you will ensure all engineering activities comply with Health and Safety and company policies. Execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance and maintain high engineering standards for assets. You will oversee internal and external engineering resource, supporting development and knowledge of current control hardware and software, and delivery of training. In addition, you will manage expenditure and budgets and lead/participate in project teams to execute engineering projects within budget and timelines.

We are looking for a qualified Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience), ideally to HNC level (or equivalent), with management experience in a manufacturing setting. With hands-on experience with low and high voltage electrical systems, drives, PLCs, and environmental control systems. Proven competency in fault-finding electrical systems and conducting root cause failure analyses. Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (experience with SAP PM is advantageous).

You must have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams and a sound knowledge HSE regulations.
