About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Purchasing Logistics Assistant to join our Central Procurement team in Coventry. This role offers excellent exposure to all areas of the Buying Department, supporting day-to-day operations and developing key skills within procurement and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Buying team in delivering an efficient and high-quality service
  • Raise and manage purchase orders and track deliveries with suppliers
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance documentation is up to date
  • Maintain accurate records, including plant location sheets and supplier certifications
  • Assist with supplier sourcing, quotes, and recommendations
  • Support internal teams, including Contracts and Estimators, with procurement needs
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments such as Finance and Plant
  • Assist with cost control by obtaining competitive pricing and supporting negotiations
  • Contribute to wider procurement and logistics activities as required
