Job Description
Legal Counsel – 12 Month FTC – 2+ PQE – Starting ASAP
Location: Birmingham (hybrid – 2 / 3 days on-site)
We're looking for a Legal Counsel to join a dynamic team based in Birmingham on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative individual with a strong grounding in general commercial contracts to work across a variety of business areas and gain exposure to strategic projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply, service, procurement, IT, and NDAs
- Supporting internal stakeholders with clear, practical legal advice across day-to-day business operations
- Advising on contract risk, interpretation, and compliance
- Assisting with legal process improvements and supporting project delivery
About You:
- A qualified solicitor with 2+ years PQE in commercial law
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Stakeholder management skills
- Able to work independently
This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham, with 2 – 3 days per week in the office to collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders.
