Senior Audit Manager or Manager in Lancaster

Our client, a leading independent firm across Lancashire are seeking an Audit Manager to join their established and growing practice. The role is pitched at Manager level, understudying the existing management team with the aim to lead the audit offering of the firm. Manage and deliver audit engagements from planning through to completion Developing commercial confidence and visibility within the firm Ad hoc non audit related projects, including due diligence work and problem solving accounting issues Assisting with the firm's Audit Quality Control process ACA/ACCA qualified Operating at Audit Manager level or Assistant Manager. High level familiarity with UK auditing and accounting standards Experience managing multiple audits and deadlines concurrently Commitment to audit quality and attention to detail Experience of managing SRA Accounts Rules Reviews would be an advantage, but not mandatory
