Big 4 on behalf of one of their clients - consultancy basis

Location: Central London - Hybrid (2/3 days in the London office)

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial statements that reflect a company's financial position, including the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement
  • Keeping track of a company's financial transactions, including sales and expenses, to ensure they're accurate
  • Developing and managing budgets for companies
  • Performing audits to ensure that a company's financial records are accurate and comply with applicable regulations
  • Analysing financial data using financial ratios, trend analysis and other techniques to identify areas for improvement
  • Preparing and filing tax returns for a company
  • Preparing and presenting statements, such as balance sheets, income and cash flow
  • Performing monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities
  • Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and studying account information
  • Analysing financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement and providing insights to management for decision-making
  • Managing treasury payment issues where applicable, including domestic and foreign payments
