This role is based onsite in Inverness, 5 days per week. As part of an Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, you will support the delivery of IAM services to ensure the right people (or systems) have the right access to the right resources at the right time, and for the right reasons. The scope typically includes:

  • Identity lifecycle management - creating, modifying, and removing user accounts
  • Authentication - verifying identity (e.g., passwords, MFA, certificates)
  • Authorization - controlling access permissions
  • Governance & auditing - tracking access and ensuring compliance

Your role:

  • Create IAM service design and detailed target operating model (TOM)
  • Lead transition activities, knowledge transfer (KT), and shadowing
  • Provide IAM service leadership and governance
  • KPI/SLA tracking and reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Stakeholder management
  • Risk and issue management

Your skills and experience:

  • Experience leading IAM services in hybrid environments
  • Deep expertise across IAM domains: IGA, MFA, SSO, PAM, and PKI

Additional desirable skills and experience:

  • Hands-on experience supporting on-prem IAM tools such as Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and Active Directory
  • Hands-on experience supporting cloud IAM tools such as Microsoft Entra ID and Okta
  • Hands-on experience supporting PAM tools such as BeyondTrust

Security clearance and pre-employment checks:

  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo baseline security screening. This typically includes identity verification, nationality/immigration status checks, employment history verification (covering the last 3 years), and criminal record checks.
  • Some roles may require additional clearance levels, depending on client requirements.
  • Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) may be required.
  • No specific nationality restrictions, but overseas residency within the last 3 years may require additional checks.
  • Candidates must be able to meet eligibility requirements for clearance, including residency and background verification.
