Are you highly organised, detail-focused and motivated by supporting others to deliver great work? Do you want a role where your contribution helps ensure vulnerable households receive timely and effective support? If so, The Wise Group would love to hear from you.

We are recruiting Administrators to join our Home Energy Advice Team (HEAT) as part of our Seasonal Team, supporting increased demand for services during autumn, winter and early spring. These fixed-term roles run from August 2026 to March 2027 and are essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the service during its busiest period.

The Wise Group is committed to lifting people out of poverty and helping individuals and families build brighter futures. Through our HEAT service, we provide practical, independent advice to households struggling with energy costs, helping people reduce bills, improve energy efficiency and live in warmer homes.

Administrators play a vital role in enabling this support by ensuring that referrals are processed efficiently, information is accurate and the service operates effectively. In this role, you will:

  • Manage and process incoming referrals
  • Update and maintain systems
  • Support communication with customers, partners and colleagues
  • Work closely with Mentors and Community Engagement Officers to ensure customers are allocated appropriately and receive timely support
  • Help maintain accurate records and monitor workflows
  • Contribute to service performance by ensuring information is handled efficiently and correctly

This is a fast-paced role, particularly during the winter months when referral volumes increase significantly. You will need to be comfortable managing a high volume of activity, prioritising tasks effectively and maintaining a high level of accuracy. Your ability to stay organised and responsive will be critical to the success of the service.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and confidence using digital systems. Experience in administrative, coordination or customer service roles would be beneficial, but most important is your ability to manage information efficiently and support a busy operational environment.

These roles form part of our Seasonal Team, created to strengthen service delivery during the busiest period of the year. You will receive full training and onboarding to ensure you are confident in your role and able to contribute from the outset. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a purpose-driven organisation while playing a key role in supporting households when they need it most. Your work will help ensure the right support reaches the right people at the right time.

To apply, please send a tailored CV and covering letter by midnight on Sunday May 31. Please note that the covering letter should be no more than two pages of A4 and should summarise your relevant skills, experience and motivations for applying for this role.
