FX Processing - Assistant Vice President (AVP)

Our client, a leading global investment bank based in London, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Assistant Vice President (AVP) for a temporary contract. Join us in providing exceptional FX processing services and contribute to the success of our Derivative Operations team.

Purpose of the Role:As the AVP of FX Processing, you will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless processing of FX transactions. Your role will involve:
- Day-to-day processing of FX transactions within the Derivative Operations team.
- Timely trade processing from Front Office trade capture systems to accounting and payment systems.
- Managing confirmation and affirmation processes for day-to-day operations.
- Collaborating with EMEA offices to deliver top-notch outsourced services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all payments are entered promptly to meet respective deadlines.
- Accurately process all accounting entries (DDA and General Ledger).
- Verify trades against external sources before processing.
- Proactively monitor and resolve reconciliation breaks on Nostros.
- Maintain relationships with Front Office teams to ensure quality service delivery.
- Continuously improve processes while adhering to control measures.

- Knowledgeable about FX settlements and confirmation matching processes.
- Familiar with CLS settlements and the importance of timely confirmations.
- Well-versed in MX and MT payment formatting requirements.
