FX Processing - Assistant Vice President (AVP)

Our client, a leading global investment bank based in London, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Assistant Vice President (AVP) for a temporary contract. Join us in providing exceptional FX processing services and contribute to the success of our Derivative Operations team.

Contract Details:

  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Daily Rate: £250

Purpose of the Role:As the AVP of FX Processing, you will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless processing of FX transactions. Your role will involve:

  • Day-to-day processing of FX transactions within the Derivative Operations team.
  • Timely trade processing from Front Office trade capture systems to accounting and payment systems.
  • Managing confirmation and affirmation processes for day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborating with EMEA offices to deliver top-notch outsourced services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all payments are entered promptly to meet respective deadlines.
  • Accurately process all accounting entries (DDA and General Ledger).
  • Verify trades against external sources before processing.
  • Proactively monitor and resolve reconciliation breaks on Nostros.
  • Maintain relationships with Front Office teams to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Continuously improve processes while adhering to control measures.

  • Knowledgeable about FX settlements and confirmation matching processes.
  • Familiar with CLS settlements and the importance of timely confirmations.
  • Well-versed in MX and MT payment formatting requirements.
  • Experienced with underlying documentation such as ISDA, DRV, and FBF.
