LHH is partnered with a respected national organisation as they seek an interim Finance and Resource Manager to join its senior leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a central role in managing the organisation’s financial strategy, operational delivery, and governance.
As a key member of the Executive Team, you will take the lead on all aspects of financial management, from preparing management accounts and annual budgets to ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and charity regulations. You will oversee payroll, maintain financial controls, manage audits, and ensure that the organisation’s financial systems and reporting are accurate, timely and aligned with strategic goals.
Your responsibilities will also extend to operational oversight, including office management, procurement, IT systems, and HR system administration. You will work across departments to ensure efficient processes and a well-managed workplace environment. In addition, you will coordinate the Finance and Audit Committee, managing meeting schedules, papers, minutes and follow-up actions to support effective governance.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented self-starter with proven experience in financial leadership, ideally within a regulated or not-for-profit setting. Strong communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities will be essential. You will also bring experience of office management and a solid understanding of governance frameworks.
