LHH is delighted to be supporting our client, an International Law Firm, to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join their ER team.
This role will lead on ER cases and provide consistent and practical specialist employee relations, employment law and change management advice and guidance to HR and business stakeholders in line with HR policies and processes. In this role you will be advising on all aspects of managing underperformance, including informal and formal and proactively leading on all disciplinary, grievance and appeal cases by managing the overall process, determining roles and responsibilities engaging external support if needed.
A key part of this role will be maintaining records of case management and tracking, and reporting on this data and creating and delivering training on ER Issues to Partners, Line Managers and HR Teams.
We are looking for an individual with deep technical employee relations expertise, supported by relevant work experience, in particular, experience of investigating and advising on cases involving senior colleagues. You will have exceptional stakeholder management and highly effective verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to prioritise, influence and operate as a coach/mentor to managers and individual members of staff, constructively challenging where necessary and will be well organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail whilst remaining calm.
