LHH is proud to be partnering with Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS) in the search for an Interim General Manager to provide management and operational oversight across the organisation’s Health Information and eLearning services.

This key management role will be responsible for the line management of Health Information and eLearning colleagues, leading on all aspects of performance management, workload prioritisation, annual leave and expense approval processes, and supporting the effective delivery of service objectives.

You will attend and oversee discussions across Health Information, eLearning and wider Professional Engagement meetings, ensuring actions are documented, monitored and progressed. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will support service planning and delivery through regular operational oversight and effective communication.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and promotion of Health Information and eLearning resources, working collaboratively with the Deputy Head of Professional Engagement on service evaluation, audit activity and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

You will also build and maintain strong relationships with NHS Boards, education providers and partner organisations, strengthen partnerships and enhance the reach and impact of CHSS services. In addition, you will oversee the launch and promotion of new Health Information and eLearning resources in partnership with internal communications colleagues.

We are seeking an experienced manager with excellent organisational, stakeholder engagement and project oversight skills. You will have a proven ability to manage competing priorities, lead teams effectively, navigate complex operational issues and contribute to strategic and governance discussions. Experience of working collaboratively across multiple teams and external organisations will be essential.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-driven organisation and contribute to the ongoing development of high-quality Health Information and eLearning services that make a meaningful difference to people across Scotland.
