LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a leading organisation in the West Midlands with the appointment of a Senior HR Business Partner for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a high-impact, commercially focused role supporting a significant transformation programme as an existing part of the Group transitions into a more standalone subsidiary model.
Working closely with senior leaders, you will take the lead on the people agenda, with particular focus on workforce planning, performance, organisational change and project delivery. You will help ensure the business has the right people, capability, structure and performance framework in place to support the next phase of its development.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders on the people implications of the wider transformation programme.
- Lead workforce planning activity, including headcount, capability, succession and future resource requirements.
- Support the development of a high-performance, KPI-driven culture.
- Use people data and commercial insight to drive effective decision-making.
- Lead and support key HR and transformation projects.
- Translate wider organisational change into clear, practical people plans.
- Support leaders with performance, capability and workforce effectiveness.
- Identify people risks, resource gaps and opportunities to improve productivity.
- Work closely with OD, Transformation and wider HR colleagues to align the people plan with the future operating model.
- Provide commercially focused advice and challenge to senior stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
You will ideally bring:
- Strong Senior HRBP experience within a complex corporate environment.
- Proven experience across workforce planning, performance and people transformation.
- Experience working within a targeted, KPI-led organisation.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect people decisions to business performance.
- Experience delivering complex HR projects and supporting significant organisational change.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and constructively challenging decision-making.
- The ability to work at pace, manage ambiguity and quickly turn strategy into delivery.
Experience within FMCG, consumer, manufacturing, logistics, retail or another high-performance corporate environment would be particularly advantageous.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded HR leader who enjoys operating close to the business and delivering tangible people outcomes during a period of significant change.
