Tax Assistant Manager - Corporate Tax Birmingham or Nottingham | Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary + Benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Tax Manager to join a leading international professional services firm in either their Birmingham or Nottingham office. Working as part of a highly regarded Corporate Tax team, you will advise a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to large multinational groups. This role offers excellent exposure to complex corporate tax matters, a collaborative working environment, and genuine opportunities for career progression. The Role As an Assistant Tax Manager, you will: Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance obligations are met efficiently and accurately. Prepare and review corporate tax computations and returns. Support on a range of advisory projects, including restructures, acquisitions, international tax matters, and tax planning initiatives. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact. Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and contribute to the development of junior team members. Identify opportunities to add value and deliver commercially focused tax advice. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualification (or be nearing completion). Previous experience within Corporate Tax gained in practice. Strong technical knowledge and a keen interest in advisory work. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
