Finance Business Partner Manufacturing (Coalville) 3 days on-site / 2 days remote Up to £60,000 + £6,000 car allowance
About the Job
I am an experienced Finance Business Partner specialising in manufacturing environments, providing accurate financial insight, cost control, and performance improvement. I work closely with operational and commercial teams to support decision-making, improve profitability, and ensure strong financial governance across multiple sites.
Duties
- Produce monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and KPIs
- Manage and control P&L and Balance Sheet for multiple entities
- Prepare and deliver budgets and forecasts with a high degree of accuracy
- Analyse pricing and margins to support commercial decision-making
- Monitor and control capital expenditure, including project appraisal
- Lead regular on-site reviews with stakeholders and budget holders
- Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations to identify risks
- Implement and maintain financial controls across sites and departments
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Partner with operations and sales teams to drive performance and cost control
Experience Required
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA)
- Strong experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering
- Manufacturing or operational finance experience (desirable)
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
- Experience with ERP systems (including JDE) and reporting tools
- Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and cost drivers
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage deadlines effectively
