Accounts Supervisor
ASAP start available, 3-6 month contract initially, with potential for permanent
Location: Ross-on-Wye / 3 days a week in the office
Salary: £37,500 - £45,000 per annum

We're looking for an Accounts Supervisor to oversee key transactional finance activities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses and banking. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing people leadership with operational excellence. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of core finance processes while helping drive continuous improvement across the function.
Working closely with the finance leadership team, you'll support the development of finance operations, provide guidance to junior team members and help maintain the high standards of accuracy, control and service that the business depends upon.
The Opportunity
As Accounts Supervisor, you'll be responsible for coordinating and improving daily finance operations, ensuring suppliers are paid on time, customer transactions are accurately processed and banking activities are completed efficiently. You'll also act as a key point of support for the wider finance team, helping to identify opportunities for process improvements and ensuring robust financial controls are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and support a team responsible for purchase ledger, sales ledger and banking activities.
Ensure supplier invoices, employee expenses and customer transactions are processed accurately and within agreed timescales.
