Our client, a dynamic player in the food (baking) industry, is seeking a talented Digital Communications Manager to lead their social media efforts across a vibrant multi-brand portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy and hands-on content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Strategy, Planning & Posting

• Lead the social media strategy across a portfolio of their baking food brands.
• Develop and manage social content calendars, ensuring timely approvals and seamless scheduling.
• Safeguard brand voice and quality while delivering fast, platform-native content.
• Utilise performance insights to continuously enhance content effectiveness.

Creators & Agency Leadership

• Oversee nano-creator agency activities and manage creator relationships from selection to review.
• Direct daily operations with the content agency, establishing clear priorities and deliverables.
• Lead studio shoots to capture compelling assets and behind-the-scenes content.

In-House Content Creation

• Film, edit, and publish engaging social-first content tailored for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
• Generate trend-led and reactive content at shoots, events, and launches.
• Repurpose existing assets into fresh, short-form edits that captivate audiences.

AI-Enabled Content Innovation

• Champion the responsible use of AI throughout the content creation process, from ideation to optimisation.
• Experiment with new workflows and distil successful practises into repeatable processes for teams and partners.

What Our Client Is Looking For:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in managing social and content for consumer brands or in a fast-paced agency environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing social-first content you have personally created.
• Proven experience in managing creators and agencies, from briefs to approvals.
• Confidence in directing shoots and providing constructive feedback.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools in content creation is a must.

• Creative and culturally curious, with an instinct for shareable content.
• Hands-on approach, adept at shifting between strategy and content creation.
• Commercially minded, linking creative decisions to brand outcomes.
• Organised and decisive, capable of managing multiple brands and deadlines.
• Collaborative, confident, and able to inspire teams and creators alike.

Tools & Platforms:

• Proficient in Meta Business Suite, TikTok, and short-form video tools like CapCut and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience with social scheduling and analytics platforms; Amazon content experience is a plus.
