Transformation Project Manager - 1 year FTC in Uxbridge

Uxbridge Full-Time On-site
L

Help us transform how we work, so we can make an even bigger difference.

At LHC Procurement Group (LHCPG), our mission is simple: improving lives and places through quality procurement solutions.

For more than 60 years, we've helped the public sector deliver better buildings and homes. Today, we're an independent not-for-profit organisation, working across the UK and reinvesting our surplus to create positive community impact.

As we embark on the next phase of our multi-year strategy, we're looking for a Transformation Project Manager to join us initially on a one-year FTC, where you will help turn our ambitions for change into practical improvements that make us a more effective organisation.

What you’ll be doing

A major part of this role will be supporting the implementation of our new HR and Finance systems, two of our key transformation projects. You’ll work with colleagues across the organisation to review and improve processes, shape how the new systems are used, manage business change and help ensure a smooth migration and successful implementation. You’ll also lead wider digital transformation and continuous improvement projects, making better use of technology, data and digital tools to help us work smarter and more effectively.

Along the way, you’ll bring the structure, momentum and clarity that keeps people and projects moving. You’ll:

  • turn business needs into practical project plans and outcomes
  • keep delivery on track across scope, milestones, budgets, resources and agreed outcomes
  • bring colleagues, senior sponsors and external partners together around shared goals and decisions
  • spot roadblocks early and help resolve them
  • coordinate testing, implementation, communications, training and adoption
  • give senior stakeholders a clear picture of progress and decisions needed
  • make sure improvements stick through effective handover and benefits tracking.

You’ll also help strengthen how we manage projects across LHCPG, sharing good practice and improving the standards, tools and ways of working that support successful delivery.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced project manager who is as comfortable working with people and change as they are with plans, budgets, risks and governance.

Crucially, you'll have experience of successfully implementing HR and Finance transformation projects, including changes to the systems, processes, data and ways of working around them.

You'll also bring:

  • experience managing complex digital transformation, business change or continuous improvement projects through the full project lifecycle
  • strong project management discipline, with the ability to keep plans, budgets, risks, governance and benefits firmly under control
  • confidence working with senior sponsors and bringing people from across an organisation together to make decisions and move change forward
  • experience managing external suppliers and delivery partners
  • the ability to understand business needs, map processes and turn requirements into achievable deliverables
  • experience supporting testing and implementation, and helping people adopt new systems, processes and ways of working
  • clear, credible communication and facilitation skills
  • a recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or PMP, or equivalent practical experience.

We'd welcome experience in migrating to platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and HiBob

Above all, you’ll be someone who takes ownership, builds strong relationships and brings people with you. Confident asking questions and challenging constructively, you can keep things moving at pace while making sure people feel involved along the way.

Organised and pragmatic, you’re comfortable navigating competing priorities and adapting when things change, without losing sight of the outcome you’re working towards.

Why join us?

At LHCPG, the work we do has real impact. We're a purpose-driven, not-for-profit organisation that helps improve lives and places across communities in the UK. In return, you'll enjoy a supportive culture, opportunities to develop your career and a range of benefits designed to help you thrive both inside and outside of work.

Some of the benefits you’ll enjoy include:

  • Salary of £53,300 per annum
  • Generous employer pension contribution
  • 34 days holiday, including bank holidays
  • An extra day off for your birthday
  • Generous employer pension contribution
  • Monthly wellbeing allowance
  • 1.5 days’ volunteering leave each year
  • Private medical cover and health cash plan after successful completion of probation
  • Enhanced family leave, retail discounts and additional lifestyle benefits after probation
  • And plenty more!

Please don’t wait to apply! We’ll be reviewing applications as they come in and inviting suitable candidates to interview throughout the advertising period. The process will involve a formal two-stage interview process. If we find the right person, we may close the advert early.
