The teams’ primary goal is to help Intermediary and Private clients enhance their wealth through a broad range of activities including Investments, Strategy, Planning/Structuring, and Lending. The foundations of the team are built on technical excellence and integrity to ensure that the client receives a holistic wealth management service.

Brief Role Objective: To provide general support to the Portfolio Management team to ensure that the client receives first class service. Responsible for ensuring that administrative, organisational and client related tasks are completed accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team with all aspects of client contact, including ongoing and regular reporting requirements and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • Place and process trades in line with client instructions for advisory and execution-only portfolios, liaising with Dealers and ensuring adherence to internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute required dealing activity to implement strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions in client portfolios.
  • Maintain and update Investment Policy Statements (IPS) where required.
  • Assist the Senior IM’s with the administration of the Annual Investment Review Process.
  • Review and advise on corporate actions, instructing the Corporate Actions team accordingly.
  • Provide analytics for the IM team, including performance, asset allocation reports and capital gains.
  • Ensure that all current/new client account data is complete, up-to-date and accurate at all times.
  • Produce reports and presentations for existing and prospective clients.
  • Deal with client’s correspondence and queries.
  • Monitor portfolios content and performance for Investment Managers.
  • Prepare and collate research and stock recommendations for the Investment Managers.
  • Attend client meetings with Investment Partners/Investment Managers where appropriate.
  • Attend seminars and functions as required.

Your profile:

  • Acts at all times in a professional manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with different teams.
  • This role is open to those who have previously worked in a Front Office environment in a similar role.
  • Preferably hold a minimum of Level 4 qualification e.g. Investment Advice Diploma (IAD).
  • Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of Products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adhere to all company-wide policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Generates new ideas/initiatives to help promote the firm to potential clients.
  • Takes initiative for their own work within an understood framework of scope and authority.
  • Uses approved AI and digital tools appropriately to enhance productivity and quality of output.
