Overview
In this role you will support the Jersey entity and UK entities with monthly management reporting, financial statements, and regulatory filings. You’ll engage with audit processes, assist junior staff, and maintain accounting records to tight deadlines. The position sits in a finance/accounting function that partners with cross-border teams within LGT Wealth Management. You will help ensure accurate reporting and robust controls in a client-focused, values-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts for LGT WM Jersey and support UK entities
- Produce month-end Management and Board Information (AuA, NAI, ROA, Jersey reporting)
- Conduct financial analysis with commentary
- Support junior staff with purchase invoices, staff expenses and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management journals (accruals, prepayments, salaries)
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and Fixed Asset register
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations within LGT WM UK and wider LGT group
- Serve as key UK audit contact for WMUK entities and liaise with external auditors
- Assist in preparation of statutory financial statements for WMUK entities and regulatory filings
Key requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Recently qualified or 1 year post-qualified experience
- Prior use of an accounting system preferred
- Experience from an audit background or with audit involvement
- Excellent numeracy
- Strong oral and written communication
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and time management
- Advanced Excel skills – VLOOKUP, pivot tables
- Experience with accounting systems
- Regulatory reporting knowledge
