LGS Vision are working with a modern forward-thinking firm which the role will involve working closely with clients providing everything from day to day bookkeeping and accounting compliance, to strategic advice at Board level. This advice is typically underpinned by high quality and timely Management Accounts. Although not a statutory requirement, as a result of clients our client works with seeing the value in preparing good MA (as well as organic company growth), we are looking for an experienced management accountant to join the team on a full time basis.

Typical tasks will include:

  • Preparing monthly MA Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • P&L analysis
  • Cash flows (historic and forecast)
  • Budget vs Actual reports and variance analysis
  • Non-financial KPIs
  • Bespoke report tailoring within Xero accounting software
  • Consolidation using software that integrates with Xero
  • Occasionally helping with bookkeeping and producing / filing VAT returns if required

Suitable applicants will have at least three years experience and may be part-qualified. Due to the nature of the role, this could work well for a candidate working ‘in industry’ wanting to switch to ‘practice'. Familiarity with current cloud accounting solutions such as Xero and Dext would be beneficial.
