Are you ready to take the next step in your investment management career? We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Fixed Income team. Currently based in Wolverhampton, in this role, you will work closely with Portfolio Managers and the Investment Director to support the delivery of high-quality investment outcomes across our Fixed Income funds. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a responsible investment approach, gain exposure to a wide range of portfolio management activities, and help shape the future of our Fixed Income strategies.
Specific responsibilities of the role include:
- Assisting in the analysis and oversight of multi-manager portfolios
- Researching and monitoring of underlying holdings
- Liaising with external and internal stakeholders
The ideal candidate will hold a degree level qualification and have gained the IMC qualification. You will also be working towards the CFA qualification. Relevant investment experience, especially in Fixed Income, would be preferred. You will be encouraged to continuously update your learning and knowledge in post.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Competence:
- Experience of investment/financial analysis, especially Fixed Income, preferably gained with an asset manager or other financial institution.
- Demonstrated skill in originating, analysing and recommending investments, documenting the rationale for making investments and monitoring them once selected.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas.
- Proven interest in Fixed Income investing.
- Excellent judgement and analytical skills.
- First class interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills.
- Ability to use initiative and take responsibility for workflow when required. A self-starter.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree and/or professional qualification
- IMC gained and working towards CFA or similar qualification or relevant investment experience would be a plus.
