This is a key role, based in Wolverhampton, supporting the wider business to deliver a high-quality service to our Partner Funds. The Client Services Manager will support the Head of Clients in the day-to-day management of LGPS clients within the investment pool. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a long-term career in stakeholder and business management, with a strong focus on customer service. The Client Services Manager will gain hands-on experience supporting a growing business, meeting the needs of its clients.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide day-to-day support in managing LGPSC relationships, both internally and externally.
- Provide excellent levels of client service and support, managing day-to-day relationships externally with our Partner Funds as well as internally across the various departments, acting as the voice of the client.
- Ensure all client queries and requests are addressed in full and timely manner.
- Ensure all client interactions are recorded internally through the CRM system, taking a lead role in development and roll-out across the business as required.
- Play a lead role in the onboarding of any potential new clients, ensuring a smooth transition as move through the next phase of pooling.
- Work with the Client Services Officer to maintain internal documentation, such as meeting minutes, project tracking tools, and internal presentations, ensuring information is kept accurate and up to date.

LGPSC is jointly owned on an equal shares basis by those Partner Fund, and it is responsible for managing Β£45bn+ of their assets. It is one of eight Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) asset pools in the UK. Requirements:
- Experience of pensions, investments and financial markets is essential.
- Experience of working with Local Government Pension funds is highly desirable.
- First class interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Must be a proficient user of PowerPoint, Excel, and be familiar with CRM systems.
- Experience in building collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including clients, Pension Committees, actuaries, investment advisors, senior management, and service providers.
Qualifications:
- Qualified to degree level is a minimum requirement.
- A postgraduate or professional qualification is preferred.
