We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team, specialising in the maintenance and repair of Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs). The successful candidate will provide high-quality field support, working independently to diagnose and repair LGMG Machinery across the UK.
LGMG UK is an oversea subsidiary of Lingong Heavy Machinery Co. (LGMG) with business sections covering aerial work platforms, telehandlers, and mining machinery. LGMG has emerged as a significant player in China's construction machinery industry, ranking among the top 100 global construction machinery manufacturers, the top 30 in China, and the top 5 among Chinese manufacturers of aerial work platforms.
At LGMG UK we provide direct machine sales, service, and parts support for our aerial work platforms and telehandlers throughout the UK and Ireland.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a range of Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs).
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently and accurately.
- Provide on-site technical support and ensure all work is completed to company and safety standards.
- Provide over the phone technical support.
- Maintain detailed service reports and documentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (clean or minimal endorsements).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK but mainly covers south of England.
- IPAF or CAP qualification (advantageous but not essential).
- Experience with Telehandler maintenance and repair.
