SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As a Workshop Engineer at LGH, you will be an integral part of our team dedicated to maintaining the high standards of our lifting equipment fleet to ensure that these comply with the statutorily established rules.
OVERVIEW OF ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Servicing, Examination, and Testing of Lifting Equipment.
- Potential requirement to participate in the breakdown service for maintenance/repair of equipment outside office hours.
- Ensuring correct administrative completion.
- Collaborating with various departments to understand the customer requirements.
- Co-responsibility for order and tidiness in the workshop.
- Any other work relating to the workshop.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Completed training as workshop engineer.
- Preferably certification up to LEEA (or equivalent).
- Machines Powered.
- Command of the English language both orally and in writing.
- Safety awareness and understanding.
- 5 years mechanical engineering experience.
- Full driving license.
- Ability to prioritise effectively under pressure when required.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Able to travel throughout the UK as required.
- Undertake training courses relevant to your role.
- Able to work outside normal working hours (weekends/evenings).
