The Opportunity
Are you a highly skilled and experienced professional with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? We are looking for a dynamic Hotel Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations and ensure our hotel remains in top condition.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the Operations: Oversee daily maintenance activities, manage staff schedules, assign tasks, and ensure all work is completed on time and to the highest standard.
- Prevent Problems: Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to keep all equipment and facilities in excellent working order.
- Optimize Energy: Manage the hotel's energy usage and implement energy-saving measures to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure Safety: Carry out all maintenance work safely and in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Build Relationships: Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
- Control Costs: Manage the hotel's budget for maintenance and repair work, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Inspect and Improve: Conduct regular inspections of the hotel's facilities and equipment, promptly addressing any maintenance issues.
- Keep Records: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, including expenses, completed tasks, and parts used.
- Report Progress: Provide detailed reports to senior management on the status of maintenance work and any issues that may arise.
