What We're Looking For
We know great Night Managers come from different backgrounds, so we're more interested in the person than a perfect CV. That said, you'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in a hotel supervisory or management role, such as Night Manager, Night Supervisor, Front Office Manager, Duty Manager, or Assistant Front Office Manager.
- A strong understanding of hotel operations, including front office procedures, guest services, night audit processes, and health & safety requirements.
- Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams, particularly during out-of-hours operations.
- Confidence in handling guest complaints and resolving issues calmly and professionally.
- The ability to make sound decisions independently and remain composed in challenging situations.
- Experience working with hotel PMS systems and completing financial or night audit processes would be advantageous.
- A good understanding of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and operational compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and confidence with guests, colleagues, and senior leaders alike.
