Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport – Maintenance Supervisor A full‑time replacement for the previous Maintenance Supervisor, this role provides stability within the maintenance team and supports the Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities * Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring tasks are prioritised, completed on time, and delivered to a high standard. * Coordinate rotas, assign work, and provide clear direction to the maintenance team. * Act as the first point of escalation for maintenance issues, responding calmly and efficiently. * Support the development and delivery of preventative maintenance programmes to reduce breakdowns and disruption. * Carry out regular inspections of facilities and equipment, identifying issues early and ensuring swift resolution. * Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety legislation and hotel procedures. * Promote a culture of care, responsibility, and attention to detail across the team. * Monitor energy usage and help introduce energy‑saving initiatives where possible. * Support budget management for maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost‑effective decisions without compromising quality. * Liaise with contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is completed to standard, on time, and within budget. * Maintain accurate records of work completed, costs, and parts used. * Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on maintenance activity and emerging issues. * Assist with the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of maintenance colleagues.
