- What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Day-to-Day Maintenance Support
- Carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across the hotel, including basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, resolving issues efficiently and calmly.
- Preventative Care & Attention to Detail
- Assist with routine inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, spotting issues early and helping prevent disruption.
- Support the delivery of preventative maintenance programmes that keep everything working as it should.
- Safety, Care & Standards
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety guidelines and procedures.
- Take pride in maintaining clean, tidy, and safe working areas at all times.
- Teamwork & Communication
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and wider hotel team, supporting tasks and projects as required.
- Assist with coordinating contractors and suppliers, helping ensure work is completed to a good standard and within agreed timescales.
- Records & Responsibility
- Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used, and any relevant costs.
- Communicate clearly about issues identified, actions taken, and follow-up required.
