As Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving the commercial success of Holiday Inn M4 J4. Working in close partnership with the Regional General Manager, Regional Director of Sales and wider commercial teams, you will take ownership of the hotel's total sales performance — defining the commercial strategy, leading delivery of the commercial plan, and embedding a confident, proactive sales culture across the business.
This role is about giving people clear direction, shared purpose and belief — ensuring teams understand priorities, feel supported, and are motivated to deliver consistently strong results.
The Role- Define and lead the hotel's commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with brand, regional and LGH objectives.
- Own delivery of the total hotel sales budget, driving sustainable revenue growth across all market segments.
- Proactively generate new business opportunities, working closely with LGH and brand CRO teams to achieve strong conversion and maximise revenue.
- Identify, target and develop local and national B2B and group accounts, using local insight and brand-led campaigns to grow performance year on year.
- Develop a strong, confident sales culture across all hotel departments — helping teams understand their role in commercial success and feel engaged in shared goals.
- Build trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, raising the hotel's profile and strengthening long‐term partnerships.
- Lead and coordinate the hotel's marketing strategy, working with LGH Central Marketing and brand partners to maximise visibility, engagement and impact.
- Use data and insight to guide decision‐making, ensuring commercial plans remain relevant, market‐responsive and effective.
