The Opportunity

At St Martins Lane, we don’t just serve food and drink — we create moments that people remember. Set in the heart of Covent Garden, our hotel is vibrant, expressive, and constantly alive with energy. Every guest arrives with a need – to feel welcome, recognised, relaxed, inspired – and it’s our people who make that happen. We’re now looking for a Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead our F&B experience – someone who thrives on energy, connection, and creating spaces where both guests and teams can flourish.

The Role

This is more than an operational role. It’s about creating an environment where people feel valued, supported, and motivated to do their best work. You’ll lead our restaurants, bar, and in-room dining experience – ensuring everything runs smoothly, but more importantly, ensuring every guest leaves feeling better than when they arrived.

  • Lead, inspire and develop a diverse F&B team
  • Create a culture where people feel trusted, recognised and empowered
  • Drive service standards that are warm, intuitive and memorable
  • Balance commercial performance with a genuine guest‑first mindset
  • Bring fresh ideas to elevate the experience and keep things exciting
  • Work closely with senior leadership to shape the future of F&B at the hotel

Benefits and Perks

  • Enviable employee discounts on bedroom rates across the LGH hotel portfolio.
  • Shopping discounts covering groceries, fashion, travel, utilities and days out.
  • Eye care benefits
  • Free legal and money advice
  • Counseling sessions
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Wellbeing tips and support fitness videos
  • Recipe ideas
  • Advice on keeping active and healthy living
  • Wellbeing podcasts and TV guidance
  • Breathing exercises
  • 24/7 advice and support line
  • Team reward and recognition programmes
  • Free meals on duty

Who This Role Is For

  • Loves working with people and gets genuine fulfilment from developing others
  • Is energised by a busy, creative and ever‑changing environment
  • Leads with emotional intelligence, not just process and structure
  • Believes great service comes from how people feel, not just what they do
  • Wants to be part of a hotel where personality, individuality and creativity are celebrated
  • Is ready to step into a role where they can shape culture, not just manage operations

You might currently be an experienced Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager or Assistant F&B Manager ready for the next step – or an established F&B leader looking for a fresh, more people‑focused environment.
