We are currently seeking a reliable and responsible Night Porter to join our overnight team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our guests feel safe, comfortable and well cared for throughout the night. During the overnight shift, you will be a reassuring presence within the hotel, supporting guests as needed while maintaining the security and smooth running of the building. Your calm manner, attention to detail and sense of responsibility will help create a peaceful environment where guests can relax and rest.

As one of the key points of contact overnight, you will handle guest check ins and check outs, respond to enquiries with warmth and professionalism, and carry out essential tasks that help prepare the hotel for the day ahead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests checking in or out during overnight hours in a friendly and professional manner
  • Monitor the hotel and surrounding areas to ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues and property
  • Respond promptly and calmly to guest requests or concerns, helping guests feel reassured and supported
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties when required to maintain comfortable, tidy guest areas
  • Prepare breakfast areas and/or coffee service to support early morning guests and teams
  • Complete basic administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping and handover notes
